Every week I used to write our weekly dinner plan on our chalkboard that hangs on the kitchen wall. I would then share it on social media. My goal was always to share meal ideas to help inspire people who may need it…But I haven’t done it lately because erasing my chalkboard, writing the menu, hanging the chalkboard back onto the wall, taking a photo and sharing it turned into a lot of work. And I’m all about making my life a little bit easier.
Although I stopped sharing, I really never stopped planning. So, each week, I’ll be sharing my weekly menu with you and possible links to the recipe or the inspiration.
Before reading further, I want you to know that I am not perfect, sometimes, I’m too tired and I don’t cook at all, we usually order pizza at least once a week and I love carbs.
Here’s my menu plan for the week:
Sunday – creamy, rustic pasta + sausage
Full disclosure regarding Sunday’s meal…as of 4pm I did not know what we were having. We are planning a pretty big grocery/Costco trip tomorrow. We have a country store nearby with local meats, butter, cheeses, etc. (it’s amazing) I drove there and picked up some meat and some local noodles. I will be sharing the recipe for this because it was outstanding, my inspiration came from this recipe.
Monday – Parmesan Crusted Chicken Breast with roasted red potatoes
Tuesday – Spaghetti with homemade tomato sauce
Wednesday- Leftovers with creamy caesar salad
Thursday- Homemade pizza
Friday – Barbecoa (you can click on the link for the recipe, it’s outstanding. Also: crockpot.)
Saturday – order pizza
This week I’ll be sharing recipes for: our favorite tuscan soup, dark and moody chocolate chip cookies and french bread.
